</strong></em></p>
<p>For Hypnotherapy and or Hypnosis to be affective, there must be some Imagery and or Visualization taking place in your mind.  Visualization is the seeing of an activity in the mind but Imagery is experiencing the activity in the mind with all, most or some of the senses involved – actually doing it, as if being part of it.</p>
<p>Imagery is a right brain activity which means it is a creative process verses the left brain which is the analytical side.  Imagery is a flexible approach that strengthens the Nero Pathways, the brain responders, so by using Guided Imagery one can practice in the mind seeing and doing what one wants to be, change or accomplished.</p>
<p><strong>Here is an example of a Guided Imagery used during Hypnotherapy:</strong></p>
<p>First, sit in a comfortable position and start to get relaxed by taking three deep long breaths and then three more, keep focusing on your breathing, until you feel more relaxed.  Continue breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth, each breath brings peace and calm as you breathe out old used energy that you no longer need.</p>
<p>Now, with your eyes closed, start to visualize and or imagine in your mind that you have arrived at your favorite place in the world.  This could be any place that is safe, calm, relaxing and beautiful – you decide where it is – or create it now.</p>
<p>It could be a place you have been before or a place that you want to visit or where you are right now – you decide.</p>
<p>Now, be there as you begin to feel the breeze, the air, as you smell the smells and hear all of the sounds around you.</p>
<p>What colors do you see, who is there with you, what animals or beings do you see or are you alone? – you decide.</p>
<p>What does the ground feel like, the air the water the trees, are there any trees, mountains, valleys or are you inside?</p>
<p>Now, what do you feel – the positive feelings inside your body?  Calm, relaxed, happy, free, joyous, peaceful, creative, focused, powerful, out of your body…</p>
<p>Keep feeling the positive aspects while staying in this place – enjoy this brief time of solitude as your continue to be good to yourself.</p>
<p>Be aware of your breathing as you continue to take deep long breaths into you belly and exhale slowly as your mind continues to drift.</p>
<p>Enjoy this time as long as you possibly can with each deliberate, slow wonderful and powerful breath to the next one (take time here to just sit and become even more relaxed as you let your mind wonder from one wonderful thought to the next).</p>
<p>Continue to be in this place of peace and harmony as you begin to see and know that you can make anything happen that you wish, you are in control here and you can work on anything that you would like to change for the better, right now.</p>
<p>See what it is that you have been wanting to change, what is it that you desire to make better in your life, right now ?  See yourself doing it and having the things that you know you deserve and allow yourself to have these wonderful things that you have been wanting and wishing for.  See yourself doing these things and having these things and enjoying the benefits of these positive changes that you desire.</p>
<p>Feel the change and allow the changes to continue to happen as you thank yourself for giving this opportunity a chance to happen so quickly &#8211; a chance to have those things that you know are yours to enjoy.  They have been there inside you just waiting to be release and now, you are allowing them to happen and be real.</p>
<p>Alright, as you see how wonderful you are, you also know how powerful and how in control you have the ability to be &#8211; Now, as you continue to deep breath, start to bring your awareness back to this place where you are in your body at this time and bring yourself here and now back to the present.</p>
<p>Begin to open your eyes and feel your body where you are and count up from 0 to 5 – 0,1,2,3,4, and 5 eyes open wide awake. 1,2,3,4,5 eyes open wide awake.  Now, continue to enjoy this peace and calm as you go through your day and remember that you are the one that allows things to happen in your life the way that you wish them to be.  So, wish for great wonderful things to happen, always -</p>

<p>Did you make any Resolutions this Year ?  Did you know that most people who make New Year&#8217;s Resolutions, do not follow through with them and I just read in a recent article that &#8220;on average, 85 % of people that make them, do not keep them.&#8221;</p>
<p>First of all, I think it is really great if you did make some Resolutions &#8211; since, that means, you do know that you would like some type of changes to occur in your life and hopefully, they are Positive ones.  It is a start, even if you are not following through with them as planned or having a hard time making them happen, at all.</p>
<p>Now, if your Resolutions are happening smoothly then, Here&#8217;s more Motivation to You &#8211; along with a reminder to always have some good &#8220;Mind tools&#8221; for those days when old ways of thinking could come back to trigger old behavior.   &#8220;Mind tools&#8221; (a term that I think, I just made up while writing this) are motivative thinking anchors that reinforce new changes and they are personalized to fit the issues of each Client that I work with.  Also, the anchors  given help in grounding new positive thoughts (like a boat anchor) to new positive actions, reactions and behaviors.</p>
<p>Change is always happening in our Lives and since, most all changes, that we would like to change, happen in our subconscious, that is why Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy works so well and quickly.  Not only, does it get to that subconscious level where old ways of thinking, feeling and reacting changes for the better &#8211; it also, reinforces changes through the personalized repetition, suggestions and visualization that is related to those issues being worked on.</p>
<p>Now, the not so easy part is finding those changes and then, making them happen while allowing them to become part of everyday life and this is why I absolutely Love being a Hypnotherapist &#8211; I get to be part of this amazing transformation that is being created as my clients quickly change for the better.</p>
<p>Change is good and through our own experiences most all of us have probably had and seen some pretty impactful changes happen during this past decade.  I know, I have and most everyone I know, has had some real good changes, along with some bad ones and then, there are others that are just confused with the many people having such difficulties while, at the same time, others are thriving by doing the best they ever have.</p>
<p>These extreme contrasts are causing us to become even more aware of what others are going through and the difference in opinions are surely being expressed.  Some of which are:  &#8220;We are just going through another recession that will past soon&#8221; along with, &#8220;This is the worst economy since, the great depression&#8221; then, there are others that are saying &#8220;What recession?&#8221;</p>
<p>Does it seems to be all relative then and what about the Law of Attraction that says, &#8220;What we focus on happens Most&#8221; ?  Well, what ever it is that we are going through, we will get through it, as we always have and there is no doubt that yes, there really is something going on out there and things are forever and always changing.</p>
<p>So, through all of these changes, what I am sensing about this new decade is that the theme is already becoming, not about me, I or you but about We &#8211; We as a whole.  We have to continue to do things together and with Social media and sites like Facebook we have already been doing this for quite some time and we are getting more and more comfortable with sharing, commenting and expressing our feelings.</p>
<p>As more and more like minded people are connecting and we continue to comment, share and express ourselves in a Positive respectful way, not only does our own life continue to change for the better but those that engage with us, change for the better, as well.</p>
<p>Since, jumping right in, to embrace Social Media, as many others did, through Facebook, this whole past year ended up being a Social Media Networking training camp for me and it has been amazing.  How great is it that, we get the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful new way to connect with people all over the world where our lives can literally be changed in an instant.</p>
<p>Just think about the many ways your Life has changed for the better through Social Media and think about those people that helped you to change and also, those you helped to change in the process.</p>
<p>Through this past year, that is what I have focused on most &#8211; the importance of embracing the changes that are happening in your Life, and what I have discovered is that, I can not do it all my own.  So, that is why I am now taking Social Media to the next level by really understanding how important it is to have a special networking group of friends &#8211; like minded people to rely on and get support and motivation from.</p>
<p>First, I found how this worked on a large scale through Facebook and now, I am learning how it can work on a smaller scale with what is being called a &#8220;tribe&#8221;.   An old term that is being used to describe a new type of online syndication tribe and the leader of this new tribe that I am involved in is<strong> Kimberly Castleberry</strong> and she explains it all very well at this link, right <a href="http://syndication.kimberly-castleberry.com/"><strong>here</strong></a> with more information <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Blogging-Syndication-Alliance-Tribe-Syndication/270237318416"><strong>here</strong></a> -<a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Blogging-Syndication-Alliance-Tribe-Syndication/270237318416"></a></p>

<p>First of all, Congratulations goes to Hypnotist <strong>John Cerbone, The Trance-Master,</strong> for his appearance on <strong>The Glen Beck Show</strong>, a great step in his career and I think he did a real fine job with what little time he had to work with.  Exposure is good and his appearance on this show has added more to the idea of people using Hypnosis for themselves.</p>
<p>So, thanks John for exposing Hypnosis more and thanks Glen for having him on your show.</p>
<p>As a <strong>Hypnotherapist, </strong>I do see more and more people are, not only, using Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, they are also accepting it as an <strong>alternative therapy.</strong> The positive results they are receiving show proof that this stuff really does work well and quickly as it changes them for the better.</p>
<p>Hypnosis is most commonly known to work well for trying to quit smoking and also, lesser known, for reducing weight but there are so many other things it can work for.  It can also help in releasing <strong>stress,</strong> changing <strong>bad habits </strong>and <strong>negative thoughts,</strong> eliminating<strong> fears and phobias,</strong> building <strong>confidence, </strong>working on <strong>obsessions</strong> and <strong>addictions,</strong> as well as, increasing <strong>motivation</strong> and more.</p>
<p>Since I believe most everyone already has within them what is required to change, one of the first things I do with all my clients is address their stress level.  Then, I assist them through motivation to release unwanted stress enabling them to go within finding their own positive changes that are already there just waiting for them.</p>
<p>Now, some of the main reasons I became <strong>The Hypnovator </strong>is to inform those, <strong>who do want change, </strong>about how well <strong>Hypnosis</strong> and<strong> Hypnotherapy</strong> can work and how <strong>amazingly</strong> beneficial it can be and most importantly, to <strong>clarify </strong>some <strong>misconceptions. </strong> So, when I see <strong>videos</strong> like this one above I do get excited about the <strong>exposure</strong> but I also feel that it still may be sending out some of the same old <strong>misconceptions </strong>about Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy &#8211; <em>that it will put you to sleep where you can be controlled and you will do anything that you are told and maybe even reveal some secrets about yourself.<br />
</em></p>
<p>I realize that Glen was having fun with the situation but I feel John, on the other hand, was really wanting to show what he is famous for, by inducing trance quickly.  <strong>John </strong>too is well know for his <strong>Stage Hypnosis</strong>, I did check out his site and some of his videos on<strong> YouTube</strong> and he is really good and does know what Hypnosis is all about.  Also, from what was discussed about John Hypnotizing someone that works at <strong>Fox,</strong> he obviously, uses Hypnosis as a therapy, as well.</p>
<p><strong>Stage Hypnosis</strong> is<strong> much </strong>different than <strong>Hypnotherapy</strong> and it seems a lot of misconceptions are still coming from what people see at these types of  <strong>shows </strong>and hear about them.  Stage Hypnosis is usually about <strong>entertaining</strong> and getting people to do funny silly things to make the audience <strong>laugh </strong>and you might agree, seeing people act this way can be pretty comical.</p>
<p><strong>Stage Hypnotists </strong>have gotten good through repetition and they know instantly who the most suggestible people are in the crowd and those are usually the <strong>brave ones </strong>willing to get up on <strong>stage,</strong> in the first place.  Also, they have mastered their techniques to work to their own advantage in getting these people to do what they tell them to do.</p>
<p>They can be real entertaining and I am not knocking them as I do enjoy watching some of them but the <strong>Hypnotherapy</strong> that I do and most other <strong>Hypnotherapist</strong> do has nothing to do with<strong> controlling</strong> other people and making them do silly things.</p>
<p>As a Hypnotherapist, I help and motivate those who have come seeking positive change in their lives.  I do make suggestions through the use of <strong>visualization and guided imagery</strong> but I <strong>motivate </strong>in changing <strong>only </strong>what a client has told me that they want to change.  We talk cognitively, out loud, before the Hypnosis part of the session and clients only reveal what they want me to know and all is discussed in complete confidence.  Then, the Hypnosis part is<strong> </strong>used as an avenue to take clients into a <strong>deepened state</strong> of <strong>relaxation</strong> to open up the <strong>subconscious</strong> part of the mind more where change occurs.</p>
<p>So, as <strong>The Hypnovator,</strong> I am here to <strong>motivate </strong>You and help You <strong>understand</strong> more about <strong>Hypnotherapy</strong> and <strong>Your</strong> mind and like John, I use my voice and don&#8217;t use a watch or a pendulum or any other Hypnotist type object thing.</p>
